Yup. Lotta work. I first drew this in November. Now I finished!
It seemed that at first, everyone was just drawing Amy with snow. But I wanted some feeling and emotion put into my work. So, I came up with this. I call it Sonamy...e.e; I'll upload tiny lineart into scraps. X3
I've always had it in my head that Sonic never does well in the cold. Amy on the other hand, lives in the city, so she's used to the weather. So, knowing Sonic's feelings of the winter, she visited him at where he lived, quite aways from her home. Now they sit together and share a scarf. Green like emeralds. I had a little trouble with the color of Sonic's sweatshirt, so it wouldn't bled in with anything else in the picture. And Look! *squeal* Sonic's ears are down! Down! <333 X3 hehee.
Now I KNOW that there was alot of other things that I could have done and such, but its my first time coloring snow. And I like it. Its a little windy out there is seems...^^ And it looks like they're about to slide offa the stone...0.o;
I like how the snow whips around, and you can still see some of the grass that still lingers, memories of the old year that will soon pass. I like the feeling of the image, and I actually am quite pleased with it. (For once.)
I tried a diffrent kind of coloring, hopefully less harsh than that of my cel-shaded images. I used a layer for pratically everything, and that nearly killed me. About 20 in total. XP Specially when I messed up on them! Remember, still a noob to Photoshop. So forgive me if the effects seem unoriginal.
